This will be one of the shortest things I send (don’t get used to it) ever.

I first wanted to just thank people for reading. A big thanks to those who are paid subs and a very shameless ask that the rest of you do so when/if you can.

I love writing and want to keep doing it and sharing my thoughts on stuff—eloquent I know— and some days that is a lot of work to try to bring in history and all the things that go in to context.

Anyway— I want to try to preview weeks, both to keep me accountable and get your minds ready for the week to come.

For this week I hope to touch on the following:

• Republican cosplay as ‘real people’

• History of the dangerous Black man trope and how it plays out still

• A request from my therapist (yes, really)
