It has been forever since I wrote one of these from an airport…well like three months but in Citrus administration years that is akin to 10 years and two divorces.
Normally I try to come back from some event that has transpired and add context or vent a little, but this will be different because, like, what do we even focus on?
This may be the point though. The current admin does so much crap that it gets hard to follow any of it, and that provides cover for the other nonsense.
A common trick play in both football and basketball (probably other sports too but I didn’t play those so idk) is to either have a player seem to walk off the field or court arguing with the coach—while everyone follows the drama, they run a quick play and score while you are looking at the idiocy on the sidelines.
I had a basketball coach who asked me to do cartwheels down the court while we ran a play. A football coach asked me to bark like a dog in the 4th quarter before I got the ball.
Wait— maybe I’m the problem.
Anyway, the Orange and Musky administration has resulted to dog barking cartwheels every second of every minute and important things get hidden or ignored.
Like— Elon is currently accessing all the pay systems from the federal government. He has no official job or title to do this. He also hired a 19 year old kid to rewrite code on said payment systems… all from his GMAIL ACCOUNT.
Gulp.
Further, the Man in Orange has requested and been sent all current and former confidential CIA operatives names. Seems really smart for the guy who hangs with terrorists and in the pocket of Putin to know who has all the purported state secrets.
They also got access to the names of EVERYONE involved in doing their jobs within the FBI to investigate the Orange One during his multiple felonies. The newly appointed AG, Pam Bondi, has said she, as their new boss, will go after all of them. ALL. OF. THEM. All for doing their jobs and trying to protect Americans.
I guess it pays to have friends in high places who you happened to appoint and who gave you money and who helped get rid of some charges against you. Friends, how many of us have them?
There are other things happening too— Like a stupid trans ban, and more racist executive orders, and withdrawing from UN Human Rights Council, and tariffs that are on again and off again, and etc etc… but it all gets lost as we look at the dog driving the car.
And that is the point of this stupidity. As all of this bad stuff, and more, was going on, we shifted to the asinine assertion Agent Orange made about the US taking over and owning Gaza.
Look, I am not getting into how ridiculous, disgusting, racist, zionist, insert other -ist here, this is.
Will he try? Maybe, who knows. Will his buddy and fellow war criminal Benji try? Well, yeah he has been for a long time.
And where this differs from the cartwheels and barking dogs is this is a REAL threat and should be talked about and stopped. So should all the other stuff too. And honestly WHERE IS CONGRESS?
And not to open an old wound but that decision by house dems to elect the old dude as the oversight chair sure looks smart right now right? I mean AOC would NEVER be able to call all this out—right?
Oh, checks her IG and sees her doing JUST that.
There needs to be a coordinated strategy to watch not only the cartwheels, but to watch the plays going on behind the ball as well.
Maybe they get it together. I just hope they do before it is too late.
