It Goes Down in The DMs…
Well not really DMs but there isn’t a rap song about secret war plans in a signal chat…yet.
But news story one was the report from the Atlantic about the genius idea to have an unsecured signal chat that included a reporter (oops!) discussing classified information about war plans.
In the words of the world-renowned poet Christopher Brian Bridges…how low CAN you go?
But really… how is that even a thing that happens? And with no consequences? We are seriously in the dumbest timeline.

First off..why? Second, this is just inhumane and wrong. Third…and importantly, this is a violation of the Geneva Convention. You know that thing with the treaties that establish the rules for the humane treatment of people affected by armed conflict, including soldiers and civilians, and form the basis of modern international humanitarian law. Yeah THAT thing.
Well, the Third Geneva Convention (GCIII) prohibits exposing prisoners of war (POWs) to public curiosity, protecting their dignity and safety, and preventing them from being demonized or shamed.
Welp.. failed that part.

In other stupid news that sounds fake but isn’t, the literal President of the USA claimed to know NOTHING about the signal chat debacle AND he claimed to know nothing about some American soldiers missing that same day.
This is despicable…and to make matters worse than…ya know reporters knowing more about operations than their ‘leader’ is that there was a statement out about it already. Like— bro I knew about it.
But most unnerving was what HE DID KNOW ABOUT.
So the guy knows nothing about his cabinet members texting randos classified war plans, or about the missing soldiers he allegedly commands…but he took time to think about a picture hanging 1,656 miles away. YES I CHECKED.
This is real leadership.
Hey at least Colorado is going to redo the picture at his request, because priorities.
It is such a shame though that no one will EVER see that picture he hates so much ever again.
