Happy 2025 peoples!
Sorry for the prolonged absence, I had a blessed week of holidays that was unlike any other. Time filled with family and that included two holidays and a wedding. So yeah… your boy was swamped.
I wanted to start with an exciting update.. I found out end of last year that I was accepted into a writing fellowship where I will be able to improve my skills and try to better myself in ways to really express the views and thoughts so often left out in mainstream media.
Looking forward to that and it is an extreme honor to be chosen. Look for me over at ChangeWire from time to time. Give them a follow too.
I thought of doing a recap of stuff that I missed but if you subscribe to this, you also pay attention to what is going on so no need to rehash what you already know.
That being said— I do want to call out a few things that happened just because they were so either stupid, frustrating, maddening, scary, Americuh, etc.

Who could have seen it coming that the MAGA right would have infighting about levels of racism?
Ray Charles…Stevie Wonder… Helen…nvm you get the point.
During the and over on the bad place— Elon and Vivek are in a weird battle with Technicolor Twitter about illegal and legal migration. Elon and Vivek basically said about white people what they have been saying about us for years—-some of them just can’t hang.
Apartheid Clyde and Vivek basically calling out white people being lazy in their push for more underpaid labor of immigrants via H1B visas. The summation of their argument was—we need immigrants, especially from certain areas, because they are harder working and smarter. Tesla needs those engineers to make self-crashing and exploding(more on that later) cars!!!
This prompted a hug back and forth between MAGA devout racists and conditional racists. That is what you get when you coalesce around hatred….again, who could have seen this coming?
They continue to go back and forth over there, with the super racists saying no non-white people should exists and the sorta racists saying, “I agree….but when they can make me money they are cool.”
Your daily reminder that racism and capitalism are the SAME THING.
We will see how that goes, but for now President Elect Sunny-D has flip flopped on which side to choose…the people who own him (Elon) or the people who support him (devout racists) luckily he has both placated right now.
Speaking of Elon— what is this?

Just senseless tragedy and I really wish we could do better in this country at teaching love and divesting from hate…but as the election showed, some people really love to hate.
Speaking of the election…
Jimmy Carter and a Little Shade
President Jimmy Carter passed away during this break. He was 100 years old and from most accounts a pretty good dude. I remember learning about him giving up his personal businesses just to make sure it was clear he was honorable as president.
Weird right? Sunny-D would NEVER.
I am not above the thought that President Carter held on long enough just to give us one last bit of retribution. Due to the timing of his passing and flag code and a presidential directive… there is a 30 day window where flags will be flown half staff which includes January 20th, the first time ever a presidential inauguration will technically HAVE to keep flags lowered.
