So… what a week yesterday was…
North Carolina gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson— a Black Trumper which makes as much sense as a pro- Colonel Sanders chicken— was outed as being all over the porn sites and Ashley Madison—the cheating site.
The super conservative anti-abortion (though he commissioned one) anti-LGBTQ official was into, you guessed it, trans related porn and also tried meet ups…so no hypocrisy over there. He desribed himself as a Black Nazi and that he loves bisexual sex and may have cheated on his wife with her sister…sooo. Cool cool cool.
Oh yeah, he said he thinks we should BRING BACK SLAVERY and he would BUY A FEW!

Journalist Olivia Nuzzi, who should change her name because there are good journalists named Olivia (s/o The Gallery Pass ) but the not good Olivia was suspended from her job at New York Magazine after it came out she entered into a relationship with her subject of some stories— Robert F. Kennedy Jr. This is also notable because she umm had a very interesting hill to die on in one of her pieces.

The last thing I wanted to briefly mention is last night VP Harris did a really cool town hall with Oprah that made me feel like a kid watching the Oprah Winfrey show with my Granny again.
I am glad. Get your money. Get elected. Send Agent Orange back to his other life as Florida Man.
But I HATE the way money is allowed in politics. I am a proponent of public financing— which sets an amount for eligible campaigns to spend and provides it—removing the rich from controlling the political space.
100 million is MAJOR but what are some things people in need could do with that money? If that money was given to orgs who need it, to people who need shelter, to people who need food? I get that this is the playing field right now, but maybe it shouldn’t be. And this is not to knock the VP. I promise I am not, especially now that I know she has a gun!

But for real— one day I hope we move away from the rich running campaigns. WE need to get rid of Citizen United. Cash should not rule everything. Sorry Wu-Tang.
