American Air-lies
WE can't even have a regular tragedy anymore
I struggled starting to write.
I looked at the “Start Writing” prompt for longer than I care to admit. Probably about as long as Matt Gaetz was a nominee for Attorney General.
Okay maybe longer than that.
By now you have seen the news of the tragic crash at DCA where an American Airlines plane collided on descent with a military BlackHawk helicopter.
Tragedy. Sad. Terrifying. My heart aches for their families and loved ones.
Not too long ago, I was a frequent flyer on an American Airlines flight into DCA. I know that descent. The picturesque airstrip bordered by the Potomac. To your right is the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial, visible as you skirt above the water to the runway. I could draw this view I saw it so much. And for many that was the last thing they saw. It is really a tragedy.
At the surprise of no-one, RumpledOrangeSkin quickly pointed fingers instead of showing compassion for families of victims. And to whom did he point fingers? Of course…BLACK PEOPLE and DEI.
Starting with Obama.
We have been on this ride so many times.
Let’s ignore the fact that Trump and his boss forced out the head of the FAA security—all because he was going to hit Elmo with some fines.
Also ignore the hiring freeze on federal workers…and the short-staffed flight control at DCA.
Let’s blame DEI.
Just say the N-word at this point. For real. Just do it, we know you want to SO BAD.
I hate this.
This is a tragedy that we should be talking about solutions, talking about supporting grieving families, talking about making sure this never happens again.
But we know who our ‘leader’ is. And we know what he isn’t. A leader.
Shortly after the tragedy— In response Mr. Citrus did this:
Bro did an Executive Order against DEI in aviation. Mind you— the pilots were white but…facts.
JD Vance went on to say that while the pilots were white, and maybe the air traffic control people were too, they were PROBABLY overworked because they have to pick up the slack of those DEI hires.
**eyes rolling until falling out of head emoji**
I don’t want to keep talking about them and this mess because it just makes me angry.
These are the people some of you chose. The type of people who make a joke about this tragedy when asked if they would go visit the crash site.
When asked about visiting the crash site this irresponsible toddler made a joke and asked if they wanted him to go swimming.
I HATE THESE PEOPLE!
And I am very angry at America for choosing them. It is hard to exist in this country knowing so many of you hate us so much that you chose him and want to blame us for everything bad that happens.
Let these people grieve in peace. Don’t use their tragedy to peddle racism.
The next 4 years anytime anything bad happens will be blamed on us, mostly because a lot of you want to use the N-word but settle for three letters.
Happy Black History Month…or whatever.
